2. Definitions

This privacy policy is based on the terms of the GDPR. For clarity, we explain some key terms here:

  • Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, e.g. by name, identification number, location data, online identifier or one or more factors specific to the identity of that natural person.

  • Data subject means any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data is processed by the controller.

  • Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, alignment, restriction, erasure or destruction.

  • Recipient means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data is disclosed, whether a third party or not.

  • Third party means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data.

3. Scope

This privacy policy applies to the Compliance Checks plugin for Claude Code, distributed via the Anthropic plugin ecosystem.

4. No Collection of Personal Data

The Compliance Checks plugin does not collect, store, transmit or otherwise process personal data. All processing takes place locally within the user's Claude Code environment. The plugin does not:

  • Collect or transmit usage data, analytics or telemetry

  • Store user inputs, documents or assessment results

  • Communicate with external servers or APIs

  • Use cookies or similar tracking technologies

  • Require user registration or authentication

Documents uploaded or pasted by the user (e.g. Data Processing Agreements, TOM documentation) are processed exclusively within the Claude Code session and are not accessible to us.

5. No International Data Transfers

As the plugin does not collect or process personal data, no data is transferred to recipients in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or to any other third party by the plugin itself.

Data processing within the Claude environment is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights as a Data Subject

As we do not process personal data through this plugin, the data subject rights under Articles 15–21 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection) are not applicable in relation to the plugin. Should you believe that personal data is being processed, you can contact us at any time using the contact details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
